The latter product provides “StreamGuard,” a patent-pending technology that keeps streams from being saved to and retrieved from user’s hard drives. With StreamGuard, streams are broken into overlapping pieces and the player reassembles the pieces for seamless playback. BitGravity also provides SecureAccess, a means to limit users’ access to expiry-dated content. And, finally, their CacheControl ensures that all content or specific content types are not cached on users’ hard drives. CacheControl for video-related Web sites, works with all media players.

BitGravity doesn’t offer any information about support. But, it appears that if you plan to use their services that you can expect high definition support as well as high definition delivery.
