This company offers shared hosting plans using Unix server operating systems and Apache Web server software. Plans are available with two separate control panels, CPanel and Plesk. For each control panel, there are two plans available. ColossalHost.com recommends the cPanel-based packages, which are cPanel and cPanel Plus. Similarly, ColossalHost.com offers two Plesk packages, the Pro and the Pro Plus. cPanel and Pro are for single domain hosting, whereas both Plus plans allows hosting on up to 10 sites. The Plus packages also offer more disk space.
All plans offer basic features such as PHP, Perl, unlimited MySQL databases, a CGI-Bin directory, unlimited sub domains and FTP accounts or access, and unlimited email accounts on a POP3 Mail Server. With cPanel packages, ColossalHost.com also includes eCommerce features like shopping carts and Shared Secure Server Access. cPanel packages also include Fantastico, which offers features such as image galleries, discussion boards, and blog systems. With any plan, add-ons are available to increase disk space, data transfer, or allowable hosted domains. In addition to hosting services, ColossalHost.com also provides domain registration services. ColossalHost.com offers free setup for all accounts. All payments are final and nonrefundable. Accounts are set up on a prepaid basis. Subsequent payments are due on the anniversary date of the payment term for that term’s service. Credit/debit cards will be charged automatically each payment term until a proper request for cancellation is received. All payments must be in U.S. currency. Payments can be made online with a credit or debit card or by U.S. bank check. ColossalHost.com accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
