There are also nine pre-configured dedicated servers available, each with full root access, or customers can order a custom-configured server by contacting HostHead by phone or email. Dedicated server customers are free to resell space on their own servers. HostHead also offers domain registration services and colocation. In addition, the company provides an Affiliate program, providing paid commissions for new customer sales or referrals.

HostHead provides a multi-homed network, using several of the largest providers in the industry. This allows site data to take the fastest route to the people loading the customer’s site onto their browsers. It also means that if one provider goes down, each site will continue to be available because the data will automatically take one of the other providers as its route. This results in less downtime. Also, HostHead owns all of its own equipment, and staffs the data center with “top notch system administrators.” The equipment is maintained 24 hours a day.
