Liquid Web caters its shared web hosting plans to small businesses. They offer three levels of shared hosting for an increasing monthly rate. Each plan includes increasing amounts of domain names, storage space, and bandwidth. All three packages come with a wide range of tools that provide the foundation for the growth of an online presence.

For greater control, clients may choose to purchase a Virtual Private Server (VPS). Two levels of VPS offer the same specifications as shared hosting as well as unlimited domains, a brandable version of control panel, full root server access, fully managed support, nightly backups, and XController.

Businesses with the greatest support needs can choose a dedicated server plan from Liquid Web. Five different levels of dedicated hosting offer different amounts of storage and bandwidth, and different types of processors. Several products or services can be added on to any dedicated hosting package for an additional charge. These include firewalls, a load balancer, a private switch, terabyte backup, and remote KVM.

Reliability and Reputation

Liquid Web ensures reliability of their network by including redundancy at every point. For backup power, they use UPS units and diesel generators in case of a total power outage. The two data centers are fully owned and managed by Liquid Web, which means that they can offer a high level of security and reliability.

Liquid Web offers a service called ServerSecure. With this, clients receive multiple security protections and installation assistance. All servers are monitored by Sonar Monitoring, which allows for both technicians and clients to view data in an easily readable and graphical format. Liquid Web also guarantees 100% uptime SLA.

Pricing

All of the various hosting packages are priced monthly and offer no discount for paying annually. Additional services to be added on are listed only for dedicated hosting. For referring new clients to Liquid Web, customers receive a one time commission equal to the cost of the new client’s service, plus 5% of that cost each month, for the life of the account.

Support

Technical support by phone or email is available 24 hours a day and seven days a week. In addition, clients have access to an extensive knowledge base and commonly asked questions. Liquid Web also provides tutorials on Fantastico, cPanel, Web Hosting Manager, FTP, and DNS.
